Develop individualized educational plans for students with special needs
Collaborate with classroom staff, parents, and specialists to support student success
Manage classroom behavior and support students in developing socially and academically
Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet diverse needs
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with educational regulations and policies
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or an equivalent field
Arizona State Teaching Certification in Special Education or eligibility for certification
Minimum 1 year experience as a Special Education Teacher with strong classroom management, individualized instruction, and behavioral support skills
Must pass background check and obtain updated clearances
Soft skills: excellent communication, adaptability, patience, and a team-oriented mindset
Physical demands: standing for long periods and assisting students with mobility needs
Flexibility to work within school hours and manage multiple priorities
