Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Pay: $45-48 per hour

Location: Near Skokie, IL

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with varying abilities and be dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a key role in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid IL teaching certification or licensure for Special Education.
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in an educational setting.

Details

• Full-Time / M-F / 37.5 hours per week
• ASAP - June 2025
• Setting - Mostly Inclusion, some Resource
• Grades - Primary, mostly 2nd grade
• Caseload - 10-12 students with Academic needs, Attention/Focus needs, and Behavioral needs
• Responsible for supporting students in an educational learning center focused on individual students' special education goals, evaluating students for eligibility/re-eligibility for special education services, generating reports/reporting out on evaluations, and chairing/participating in meetings.
