Amergis Educational Services is hiring a Special Education (ESE) Teacher for full-time roles in Sarasota and surrounding areas for the 2026–2027 year. The position offers $45/hr, a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• CPR certification if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students from K–12.
• Collaborate with program staff to plan and implement student programs.
• Offer special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
