Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education is seeking Life Skills and Resource Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves direct instruction, IEP goal development, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

In this in-person role, you will evaluate students, implement individualized plans, and communicate progress to families and staff. SPG emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and a supportive school-based environment.

Qualifications

• TX Special Education licensure is required.
• Ability to work in person with students in a school environment.
• Experience communicating with families and collaborating with general education and related service providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in classroom settings.

What We're Looking For

• Valid TX Special Education Licensure
• Ability to work in person with students in a school environment
• Proficient in IEP case management
• Ability to communicate effectively and thrive in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
• Are eager to learn, grow, and continuously develop their professional expertise
