Job summary

Magen David Yeshivah in Brooklyn seeks an experienced General Studies Special Education Teacher to provide push-in and/or pull-out support in reading and comprehension for small groups of up to six students in grades 1-5.

Master’s degree or NY Certification in Special Education required. The role emphasizes creative teaching methods, parent communication, and collaboration with coaches to close learning gaps.

Qualifications

• Experience working with special education students in small groups.
• Experience modifying curriculum for struggling learners and scaffolding instruction.

The General Studies Specialist will provide push-in and/or pull-out support in reading, decoding, and/or reading comprehension/writing to small groups of up to 6 students in grades 1-5.
