Job summary

Magen David Yeshivah in Brooklyn is seeking an experienced General Studies Special Education Teacher with a Master's degree to provide reading support and literacy instruction for small groups of 1-6 students in grades 1-5.

The role involves push-in/pull-out support, curriculum modification, progress reporting to parents, collaboration with curriculum coaches, and contributing to a warm, mission-driven school with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or NY Certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with special education students in small groups on reading decoding and comprehension.
• Experience developing hands-on approach and creative learning techniques for struggling learners.

We are currently offering highly competitive salaries for experiencedGeneral Studies Special Education Teacherwith Master's degrees at our Brooklyn school. The General Studies Specialist will provide push-in and/or pull-out support in reading, decoding, and/or reading comprehension/writing to small groups of up to 6 students in grades 1-5.
