Magen David Yeshivah is looking for Elementary School Lead Teachers at our Brooklyn school. The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during summer.

Responsibilities
  • Work together with the 1st through 5th grade team to follow the outlined curriculum
  • Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
  • Educate and support students to help them accomplish learning benchmarks.
  • Plan lessons that target specific skills and concepts.
  • Cultivate core Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion and integrity within students.
  • Participates in various student and parent activities which occur in school including PTA and student clubs.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree is required
  • Classroom experience
  • Fluency in Hebrew is preferred
