Point Quest Group in Mt. Carmel, IL is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to lead a classroom serving students with diverse learning needs. You will develop and implement IEPs, support PBIS, and collaborate with families and staff to foster academic and social growth.

Issuing compliance with Illinois certification, you will supervise paraprofessionals, attend IEP meetings, and ensure accurate documentation while using assistive technology.

Qualifications

• Illinois teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement is required.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Special Education preferred.
• Background checks (DOJ/FBI Live Scan) and TB clearance may be required.
• Experience with IEPs, PBIS, and collaboration with families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a special education classroom and develop/implement IEPs.
• Manage PBIS and track behavior and progress.
• Supervise paraprofessionals and collaborate with families.
• Attend IEP meetings and maintain compliant documentation.
