Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Tolleson, AZ to lead a classroom serving students with diverse needs. You will develop IEPs, implement PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and partner with families and staff to support academic and social growth.

You'll collaborate with service providers, administer assessments, and document progress toward goals while incorporating assistive technology as needed.

Qualifications

• Arizona Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop lessons with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Implement and manage PBIS with behavior tracking and parent communication.
• Supervise paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Attend and lead IEP meetings; maintain compliant documentation.
• Conduct assessments and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and outside agencies.
