Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Buckeye, AZ to lead a classroom serving students with diverse learning needs. You will develop and implement IEPs, use PBIS for behavior management, supervise paraprofessionals, and liaise with families and staff to support academic and social growth.

The role requires AZ Special Education certification and a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s in special education and 2–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Arizona Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certificate is required.
• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required.
• Master’s in special education preferred.
• Two to five years of experience working with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Implement and manage PBIS in the classroom and maintain behavior data.
• Lead IEP meetings and maintain compliant documentation.
• Supervise and direct paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and outside agencies.
