Job summary

Aurora Collegiate Academy in Memphis is seeking dedicated teachers for K-5th grades, committed to the academic success of underserved children. Teachers will implement effective instructional methods and adhere to school policies while fostering a supportive learning environment.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and a state-issued teaching license in Special Education, demonstrating a belief in all students' potential for success in college.

Qualifications

Aurora Collegiate Academy is a college preparatory K– 5th grade charter school for underserved children from across Memphis. Aurora Collegiate opened in August 2012. Our mission is to prepare each of our students to enter and excel in a rigorous secondary school and eventually in a 4‑year college or university.

Members of Aurora Collegiate Academy staff will work to prepare students in grades kindergartenthrough fifth grade with the academic, social, and character foundation necessary to compete incollege and beyond.
