Position

The Aurora R-VIII School District is currently accepting applications for a full-time elementary special education teacher (grade 3-6) for the 2026-2027 school year. Aurora students attend school Monday-Thursday (four days a week only).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized services for students in the special education process.
• Differentiate instruction and provide strategies needed for student learning.
• Collaborate with others to develop plans that ensure learning.
• Utilize behavior strategies to help with significant behaviors.
• Document student progress and instructional plans.
