Ampersand Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Centennial, CO to support K-8 students. You will provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and foster an inclusive learning environment within a therapist-led team.

Apply for a full-time, 1.0 FTE position starting August 2026. W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare benefits, and 401(k) with company match are included.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with K-8 students preferred.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects.
• Support students with mild to moderate disabilities.
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs.
