Ampersand Therapy in Golden, CO seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support ASD and SSN center-based classrooms for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time 1.0 FTE role focuses on individualized instruction, IEP development, and creating a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to each student’s needs.

You’ll collaborate with a school team and receive mentorship from a therapist-run company, with W-2 employment, liability insurance, health benefits, and licensure

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with students with ASD and/or SSN preferred.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Provide specialized instruction across academic and functional areas
• Support students in a structured, center-based classroom environment
• Implement appropriate behavioral and instructional strategies
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Maintain accurate progress reports and required documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Hello Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Golden, CO to support students in ASD and SSN center-based classrooms. In this role, you’ll provide individualized instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students’ unique needs. You’ll collaborate with a supportive school team while receiving support from a therapist-run company.
