NFI North, including Bridge Crossing Academy, is seeking a Special Education teacher to join our team. The role focuses on providing tailored education within a supportive, structured setting that serves K-8 students with various mental health needs.

Responsibilities include curriculum planning, ongoing assessments, progress reporting, and supervision of education support staff. Strong teamwork and a deep understanding of social-emotional health are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Education and be certified or eligible for Special Education (282) certification.
• Strong emphasis on teamwork is essential.
• Understanding of a student's social and emotional health is critical to the student's success.

Our classroom BHP's and Clinical Staff specialize in the treatment and education of our students with a wide array of mental health diagnoses including mood disorders, complex trauma, attachment disorders, ASD and social and emotional supports.
