Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Special Education Teacher to join our travel team serving school communities in Beaufort, SC. The role focuses on delivering quality services to K-12 students under the direction of the Program Administrator.

The candidate will participate in planning, implement SPED programs, and provide consultation with general education staff, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Travel requirements apply with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Minimum Requirements
