Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, special education, educational leadership, or a related field required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Five years of professional experience in special education teaching or related service delivery required.
• Minimum of three years of school administration, program leadership, or supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of federal and PA special education laws, IDEA included.
• Experience with professional development, coaching, and staff development for students with disabilities.
• Experience supervising staff, budgeting, and grant-funded programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and coordination for IDEA-funded Training and Consultation personnel and services.
• Plan and oversee technical assistance and professional development for educators and administrators.
• Coordinate TaC activities with PDE, BSE, PaTTAN, and local needs.
• Guide staff in presentations, modeling, coaching, and resource identification.
• Coordinate TaC activities with statewide systems and PaTTAN activities.
• Collaborate with districts and partners to identify PD needs and coordinate supports.
• Promote integrated TaC activities across areas of expertise to strengthen services.
• Support multiple formats of professional learning, including in-person and virtual formats.
