Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or higher in related field preferred.
• Degree or certification related to behavior management with at least 6 months of experience preferred.
• Experience with children with disabilities preferred.
• Familiarity with reading and understanding IEPs preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent personal and communication skills with confidentiality.
• Valid driver's license; driving required.

Responsibilities

• Assist assigned student(s) to implement IEP goals under supervision.
• Use developmentally appropriate strategies and tools to facilitate learning.
• Provide one-to-one or small group instruction as needed per IEP.
• Collect student data for reporting purposes as determined by teachers.
• Maintain confidentiality of students and families.
• Attend professional development activities.
• Drive the vehicle for student transportation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by principals or district.
