Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 48 semester hours or PRAXIS PARAPRO exam.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Must pass test or meet NCLB educational requirements.
• Able to obtain Educational Aide Permit with ODE.
• Ability to work with students including challenging behavior.
• Clear communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• Supervise students responsibly.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Physical strength to assist/ restrain if needed.
• Clerical skills and familiarity with office machines.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
