Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks an assistant teacher to support small groups of K-12 students with special education needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools, helping them engage with evidence-based instruction and supportive routines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead small group instruction with SESI model.
• Partner with teacher to provide behavioral and academic support.
• Assess student progress and communicate with families.
• Supervise class and assist with activities.
• Use behavior intervention strategies and PBIS framework.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and safety measures as needed.
• Support daily planning and track student growth.

Education
