Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks an Assistant Teacher to support students with special needs in small-group settings.

You will collaborate with the classroom teacher to implement individualized lesson plans and behavior supports. Join SESI to help students grow academically and socially within a caring team, participate in data-driven instruction, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with small group instruction and classroom activities.
• Implement SESI's academic rotational model and behavior supports.
• Support, monitor, and track student progress and growth.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to address student needs.
• Maintain student safety and supervise transitions between locations.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques when needed.
