Qualifications

• Assists the special education services teacher and maintains confidentiality.
• Meets suitability criteria under Alabama statutes and school policy.
• Demonstrated success in relevant work experience and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Presents lessons or portions of lessons and checks accuracy of work.
• Assists students with books, computers, and classroom materials.
• Provides toileting support and mobility assistance as needed.
• Assists in maintaining discipline and safe behavior in classroom and buses.
