Job summary

Linden Grove School in Cincinnati, OH seeks dependable substitute teachers to support special education across grades K–8. Roles include following pre-written lesson plans, supervising students, and maintaining health and safety standards.

Long-term assignments offer $130 per day with planning duties; standard substitutes earn $120 per day. Position is paid via 1099 with semi-monthly deposits; FBI/BCI background checks required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience with autistic children preferred in grades K–8.
  • Ability to follow pre-written lesson plans and maintain safety and health standards.
  • Willingness to work as part of a co-teaching team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support and assistance to classroom teachers and students from early childhood through middle school.
  • Supervise students during recess, lunch, and sensory breaks.
  • Record student progress on data sheets, goal sheets, and daily logs to assist the teacher and behavior coordinator.
  • Assist with educational classroom needs and student behavior plans.
  • Work collaboratively with a school-based team.

Special Education SUB responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support and assistance to classroom teachers and students from early childhood through middle school.

Substitutes should be comfortable working with autistic children and related special needs in grades K–8, alone or as part of a co‑teaching team. Subs are expected to maintain classroom health and safety standards, implement pre-written lesson plans, update children's daily information electronically,and follow the program guidelines.
$120.00/day

$130.00 per day for long-term assignments (with lesson planning); must hold a bachelor's degree or better.


Compensation Frequency—Semi-monthly on the 15th and 30th of each month on a 1099
