Job Description

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid Texas Teacher Certification or an * Alternative Certification Program (ACP) Eligibility Letter in the following: Special Education Certificate and Elementary, Elementary Self-Contained, Generalist, or Core Subjects
• Must have passed the Special Education and Content exam from the ACP Program to qualify

PREFERRED:

• ESL Certificate or must become ESL certified within the current school year
• General knowledge of curriculum & instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
