Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a dedicated Educational Support Professional (ESP) to join our team in a Resource Special Education setting. You will support students with learning activities, routines, and behavior management, collaborating with teachers to ensure progress and align with IEP goals.

Starting Date: Immediately. Work schedule is 6 hours per day during the school year, with part-time status. Salary is $21.42 - $26.42 per hour, onsite at the district facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HQ eligibility by start date per Minnesota Department of Education.
• Ability to lift and attend to physical needs of students.
• Two years of higher education (60 credits) or associate's degree or passing ParaPro/ParaEducator/ParaPathways assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to assist the students with learning activities, classroom routines, and behavior management.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and strategies outlined in IEPs.
• Collaborate with Special Education teachers, grade-level teachers, and support staff to ensure progress.
• Support students in meeting individualized academic and functional goals.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in district training prior to and during employment.
