Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with students, parents and staff to develop IEPs through ARD process.
• Implement instructional programs and provide required documentation of progress toward IEP goals.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials reflecting individual needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curricula and assist students in regular classes.
• Prepare for ARD meetings by updating IEPs, administering assessments, and drafting modifications.
• Participate in ARD meetings, explain progress, provide state testing guidance and transition goals.
• Distribute IEP paperwork to teachers, provide supplemental aids, and implement IEP.
• Assess student learning styles and use results to inform instruction.
• Present subject matter per IEP guidelines and use diverse instructional techniques.
• Supervise instructional assistants and volunteers and use assistive technologies in learning.
• Maintain open communication with students and parents, and document conferences.
• Comply with district policies and maintain confidential student records.
• Report to work at site daily and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
