Job summary

Qualifications

• BA Degree in Education with experience in Special Education preferred
• Valid Teacher Certificate and endorsements

Responsibilities

• Plans curriculum, lessons, and special ed programs and teaching methods.
• Supervises students and maintains classroom environment.
• Maintains contact with parents of students.
• Instructs individuals and groups on Special Ed skill areas.
• Monitors student progress and modifies curriculum.
• Prepares report cards, education records and IEP forms.
• Participates in weekly building Special Ed meetings and testing evaluations.
• Administers testing evaluations.
