Job summary

The Oxford Hills School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with students who have behavioral needs at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. The candidate must hold a valid Maine certificate or be able to obtain one with endorsement 286 or 282, and will report to the Building Principal/Director of Student Services.

The position is a 180-day contract with a salary range of $46,012.50 to $81,329.34, plus annual stipends for specialized roles and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Maine certificate or the ability to obtain one with endorsement 286 or 282.
• Experience working with students with behavioral needs in a school setting.
• Ability to collaborate with building leadership and student services teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide special education instruction to students with behavioral needs at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to support individualized education plans.
• Maintain professional responsibilities under a 180-day contract and report to the Building Principal/Director of Student Services.
