Westfield Washington School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant - Special Education Resource for Cool Creek Elementary School. The role is 35 hours per week, full-time, with a start date around 08/17/2026.

You will assist the teacher with individual or small-group instruction and help implement behavior plans under supervision. Responsibilities include supporting testing accommodations, reinforcing materials, supervising activities, and maintaining confidentiality of student

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in achieving instructional objectives for individual students or small groups.
• Assist with testing accommodations and data collection as assigned.
• Support the teacher with strategy development to reinforce skills.
• Supervise activities, reading aloud, and group work as needed.
• Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality of student information.
• Record keeping and assisting with life skills and independent tasks where applicable.
• Assist with behavior plans to support safety and positive outcomes.
