Job summary

Chileda Institute Inc seeks a Special Education Program Manager to oversee the La Crosse Learning Center. You will ensure IEP fidelity, supervise education staff, and coordinate day-to-day operations to support student-centered programming.

You will work with the Principal to maintain compliance and provide staff development, ensuring safe, effective, and engaging educational experiences for students with cognitive and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Services, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of two years of supervision or teaching experience.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) along with two years of teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), special education law, and compliance requirements.
• A teaching license is not required at hire but must be obtained within two years of hire; pursuing a master's in educational administration preferred.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with families, school districts, leaders, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development, implementation, and monitoring of all IEPs to ensure IDEA and state compliance.
• Support classroom teachers and behavior services to meet IEP goals.
• Oversee daily operations and safety of the Learning Center.
• Supervise Education Shift Manager, Floating Teacher, and Classroom Teachers.
• Collaborate with the Principal and other departments to align program delivery.
• Ensure proper reporting and incident documentation as required.
