Qualifications

Experience supporting or leading special education evaluation, eligibility determination, or pupil appraisal processes.
Knowledge of alternate assessment eligibility and participation requirements.

Responsibilities

Serve as a statewide resource and subject-matter expert on special education evaluation and pupil appraisal.
Develop guidance, tools, and policy recommendations to support IDEA implementation.
Provide technical assistance and professional learning to school system leaders and educators.
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Lead statewide initiatives to strengthen identification of students with disabilities.
