Job summary

This full-time position requires a Pennsylvania State Credential of Competency and strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications

• Ability to relate effectively with students with a wide range of specific learning, physical, and emotional disabilities.
• Demonstrated good judgment in working closely with assigned students.
• Ability to implement instructional strategies under teacher supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with physical, behavioral, academic, emotional, and/or medical needs.
• Assist in implementing specially designed instruction during teacher-directed lessons.
• Collaborate with classroom teacher to adapt classroom materials.
• Observe and record student data as required.
• Assist in implementing individualized positive behavior supports.
• Provide support services as required in a positive manner.
