Job summary

Jubilee Academies is seeking a Special Education Achievement Specialist to build district capacity by advising campus leadership and delivering ongoing professional development at Jubilee Academies District Office in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on instructional modeling and compliance training for staff implementing IEPs and 504 plans, ensuring fidelity to best practices and legal requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Texas SPED certification required.
Minimum of three years as a SPED teacher.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Ability to travel across regions.
Knowledge of IDEA, TEA laws and 504 regulations.

Responsibilities

Coaching school-based SPED managers and staff across PreK–12, including 504 and SPED, ensuring compliance.
Analyze MTSS, 504, and ARD data to guide campus support and interventions.
Build trust with teachers, parents, and administrators; act as SPED team liaison.
Co-facilitate professional development and resolve TEA complaints as needed.
Ensure IEPs and 504 plans meet legal requirements; participate in IEP meetings.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
