KVC Health Systems, Inc. in MO is seeking an Associate Teacher for the Missouri Teacher Pathway Program. This full-time, benefits-eligible classroom role supports students with behavioral, emotional, and learning needs while guiding a path toward special education teacher certification.

You'll receive structured training, a consistent school-based schedule, and long-term support. Clear path into education with PSLF eligibility and tuition reimbursement options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 36 college credit hours OR eligibility for substitute teaching certification.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development within a therapeutic learning environment.
• Collaborate closely with licensed special education teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement individualized student supports.
• Utilize trauma-informed practices and evidence-based behavioral support strategies throughout the school day.
• Build consistent, trusting relationships with students to support stability, engagement, and progress.
