All ESY Paraprofessional Training: Tuesday, June 17, 2025 (8:00 am - 9:00 am)
Required Initial CPI Training will be held Tuesday, June 17 from 9-3:30 for staff who are not certified.

SA/ESY Program Dates: Mondays - Thursdays for 15 school days:
A high school diploma or GED and one of the following:
An AA, AS, AAS (or higher) degree, or
Two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution of higher education which are applicable toward a Bachelor’s Degree.
Basic skills in reading, writing and math.
Establish and maintain effective and professional relationships with students, peers, and parents.
Collaborate with others to improve professional practice and student achievement.
Contribute to the success of ESY summer programming.
Care for district resources, equipment, and materials assigned to him/her and report concerns regarding facility and equipment to the designated supervisor.
Be knowledgeable of and adhere to all procedures and practices prescribed in the Teacher, Student, and/or Parent Handbooks.
Understand and practice School Board policies and adhere to federal and state laws that apply to his/her job assignment.
Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in organizational skills.
Capable of working cooperatively and congenially to develop good relationships with other employees, supervisors and students.
Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality related to student data.
Ability to be punctual in reporting to work and for assigned duties.
Assist teachers with students in duties that include, but are not limited to the following types of tasks:
Guide student learning and support lessons designed by the classroom teacher.
Assist students in small group and individual settings.
Provide positive, constructive feedback to students.
Assist the teacher with general supervision responsibilities including lunch, recess and bus duty.
Maintain the same, high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students that is expected of fully licensed teachers.
Be mindful of district priorities for program improvement including: affective development, developmentally appropriate curriculum, diversity of instructional approaches, multiple assessment and evaluation techniques, interdisciplinary curriculum, and emphasis on student thinking skills.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor or district administrator.

Position Site: Inver Grove Heights - Hilltop Elementary or Pine Bend Elementary
Position Summary:
ESY Paraprofessionals are responsible for supporting classrooms with creating safe and engaging learning experiences for ISD 199 students in kindergarten through 5th grade who meet eligibility criteria for ESY.
Compensation:
Hourly Wage: $21.57 to $21.81 depending on the program.
Required Position Dates:
All ESY Paraprofessional Training: Tuesday, June 17, 2025 (8:00 am - 9:00 am)
