Job summary

Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative in Dartmouth, MA is seeking a Paraprofessional to support teachers with classroom management and IEP development. The role includes direct student support, data collection, and collaboration with families and staff.

The position requires an Associate degree or ParaPro, with potential extra pay for RBT/transport certificates. It is a 184-day school-year role with benefits and mileage/transport duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate degree/equivalent or passing ParaPro test score required.
• Experience working with students with special needs and medical needs.
• Positive Behavior Support and/or ABA/RBT background strongly preferred.
• Candidate must be comfortable providing personal care and behavior support to students.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, implement data driven instruction and behavior plans.
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow schedules and support program locations as needed.
• Prepare for and attend staff meetings and student meetings.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Provide transportation support using program vans when required.
• Communicate significant occurrences to the supervisor promptly.
