Job summary

Ranger ISD in Texas is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support teachers and students throughout the school day. You will assist with classroom activities, supervise students, and help prepare instructional materials for lessons.

Work closely with teachers and staff to maintain a positive learning environment, provide tutoring in small groups, and support administrative tasks such as attendance, copying, and presentations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional plans provided by the supervising teacher
• Create and oversee behavior-management plans
• Supervise students in the classroom and during certain out-of-classroom activities
• Tutor students and assist in small group learning exercises
• Help with administrative tasks, such as copying and filing papers, taking attendance and preparing presentations
• Collaborate with other educational professionals to meet students’ needs
• Assist with more generalized school activities, like assemblies and recess
