Qualifications

• Illinois licenses or 60+ college credits or WorkKeys required.
• Ability to work with students with disabilities.
• Paraprofessional or substitute licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision, care, and instruction of students with unique needs in regular or specialized settings.
• Help implement plans and strategies for academic, social-emotional, and life skills.
• Assist with toileting, feeding, and lifting as needed.
• Monitor student behavior to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Apply behavioral approaches such as ABA or CPI when appropriate.
