Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of college or AA degree, and proficiency with MS Office or Google Suite. Schedule is 35 hours per week with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of college (48 units) or AA degree or higher preferred.
• CBEST or California 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with database systems such as ISIStrac or similar.

Responsibilities

• Confer with the IEP team regularly to assist in evaluating student progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Instruct special education students in small groups to meet learning goals.
• Maintain instructional materials and student records and communicate with surrounding school districts as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks to support the teacher and keep daily data on instruction and behavior.
