Job summary

The paraprofessional will assist with instructional tasks, supervise during meetings, help with administrative duties, and support student care activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional role requires 60+ college credits (preferred).
• Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate is preferred.
• Paraprofessionals should have experience working with students.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teacher with instruction in the classroom.
• Monitor the classroom during IEP meetings and staffings.
• Assist with grading papers and phone calls as needed.
• Assist with the physical care of students (diaper changes, bathroom, feeding) as needed.
• Assist in lunchroom as assigned.
• Assist at recess and noon hour as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.
