Job summary

Pine-Richland School District is seeking a Paraprofessional to support students during the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves providing academic, behavioral and emotional support to students with disabilities, under the direction of licensed staff.

You will assist with IEP goals, SDI, and daily living skills, working closely with teachers and healthcare staff to ensure student success. The position requires an Associate's Degree or higher and prior experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or two years of postsecondary study required; experience with children preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, behavioral and emotional support to students with disabilities under supervision.
• Assist with implementing IEP goals and SDI under guidance of licensed professionals.
• Support daily living skills, personal hygiene, communication, and classroom routines.
• Assist with mobility and transfer of students using safe lifting techniques.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with teachers, nurses, PCA staff and administrators.
• Attend meetings and ensure regular attendance as required.
