Job summary

Klamath Falls City Schools seeks a Paraprofessional 2 at Conger Elementary School in Klamath Falls, OR. The position supports students with diverse learning needs under the supervision of a teacher and building administrator.

Starting immediately, rate of pay is $20.57 per hour, with a 6.5 hour/32.5 hour per week schedule. Benefits include insurance assistance and PERS retirement, with additional district supports and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• AA degree, two years of college or passing paraprofessional exam.
• Ability to organize and communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow directions and learn new procedures.
• Ability to provide care for student’s physical needs.
• CPR and First Aid training certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessment of student performance levels.
• Assist in instruction of individual and groups of students per IEP goals.
• Assist in feeding, toileting, physical care and health needs of students.
• Supervise and implement individualized support plans.
• Record and maintain student performance data.
• Prepare instructional materials.
• Supervise activities in cafeteria, bus loading, field trips, hallways, etc.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain organized records.
