Responsibilities

  • Assist in facilitating the personal, social, and intellectual development of students.
  • Help establish a positive learning environment and address individual needs.
  • Remain calm when a student is escalated, disruptive or aggressive.
  • Gather data as directed by licensed teacher.
  • Provide behavioral support in the classroom.
  • Assist with reading and storytelling.
  • Perform clerical duties as required.
  • Assist with the physical needs of students.
  • Support students to become more independent.
