Job summary

Performance Academies in Ohio is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities in a structured learning environment. You'll assist teachers with instructional activities, reinforce IEP goals, monitor progress, and collaborate with staff to ensure an inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Education preferred.
• Current Ohio Educational Aide Permit or ability to obtain.
• Successful completion of required state and federal background checks.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, email, and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction and reinforcing academic skills.
• Provide one-on-one and small-group instructional support to students.
• Support students with disabilities in implementing IEP goals, accommodations, and classroom activities.
• Assist with classroom preparation, learning materials, and instructional activities.
