Job summary

Farmington School District is seeking a paraprofessional to support individualized education programs at Farmington Junior High. You will assist teachers with small-group instruction and data collection to monitor student progress.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates degree, 60 college credit hours, or passing score on ParaPro Praxis.
• Ability to support IEP goals and individual student needs.
• Strong organizational and data collection skills.

Responsibilities

• Share and lead the vision to create an individualized education program for each student.
• Facilitate targeted interventions and assist in courses as required.
• Liaison between instructors and students.
• Provide individual or small group instruction.
• Assist in implementing behavior management activities.
• Perform clerical duties including data collection and entry.
• Attend conferences or meetings and complete required trainings.
• Accompany students to various campus locations and support community-based activities.
