Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year to support students with disabilities at their West Valley campuses. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

This role involves assisting in IEP implementation, providing instructional support, and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, communication skills, and self-motivation while being dedicated to fostering student growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Help the SPED Teacher with delivering instruction in various subjects.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Support students in participating in learning activities.
• Observe and document student performance and behavior.
• Work closely with the SPED Teacher and general education teachers.
• Encourage social interactions among students.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials.
• Maintain communication with parents regarding student progress.
