Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Experience working with special needs students preferred.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist general or special education teachers with instruction and accommodations.
• Support students with mobility, personal care, and daily routines.
• Manage classroom behavior with de-escalation and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with caseworkers and staff to implement IEPs and behavioral plans.
• Monitor student progress and document progress and incidents.
• Attend training and participate in school initiatives as directed.
