Job summary

Qualifications

• Education Attainment (Required): High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists students in physical tasks and reinforces instructional content.
• Assists with moving between spaces, personal care, and supervision outdoors as needed.
• Works with small groups to reinforce material under teacher direction.
• Builds supportive relationships and communicates student progress to staff.
• Operates and cares for equipment used in the instructional program.
• Assists in maintaining a conducive classroom environment and applies strategies.
• Supervises students during drills, assemblies, field trips, and activities.
• Serves as primary info source for substitute teachers when the special ed teacher is absent.
• Assists with distributing materials and record keeping/documentation.
