Job summary

Pocatello/Chubbuck School District No. 25 is seeking a Habilitative Skills Paraprofessional at Chubbuck Elementary to assist students with significant and regular personal care, behavior interventions, and functional life skills.

The role supports IEP goals under supervision of teachers and principals, in a classroom setting with exposure to varied student needs. Seven hours per day, nine months per year, with a pay rate of $16.78 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and 32 college credits or pass the Praxis.
• Copy of transcripts must be uploaded with the application.
• Candidate will be considered highly qualified.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with emotional, physical, and mental disabilities.
• Support students one-on-one and in small group settings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of effective behavioral methods.
