Macon R-1 School District is seeking an Elementary School Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time role works with students with disabilities and collaborates with Special Education teachers to support IEP goals.

You will be part of a Trauma Informed District, with professional development days and opportunities to attend state conferences and other programs. The compensation includes salary commensurate with experience, medical benefits, and paid time

Qualifications

• Background check and fingerprint check by the Missouri State Highway Patrol required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Special Education teachers to best serve students.
• Follow students’ education plans as prepared by the special education teacher.
• Monitor student progress and participate in review and revision of IEPs as appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate student data and other records as required by the special education teacher.
